African hair styles for a caucasian girl?

Q& A : I have blondish hair, rather long now but it’s quite fine and flat. Big hair with volume suits me a lot but it’s hard to achieve and it doesn’t last. I’ve tried hair extensions – rubbish. No needed effect as they didn’t create volume at roots.
Do you think I can have some african style hair? Like a weave or something? With big curles or waves? Do they do it on white girls? Will I have to have my hair cut? Or is it a crazy idea overall?

im half black , & my hair is crazy with volume:)
its funny how you WANT that kind of hair ,
& i want your kind of hair.
its so hard to maintain. But if you want a weave,
i think thats the best way to go.
& no you dont need to cut your hair if you want a weave

I see what you’re saying, and I think you can try getting hair weaved in but it is expensive and it HURTS! You will definitely have a lot of volume though. White women get this done too so you don’t have to go to a black beautician. Honestly when I read your title i thought you wanted dreads.
