tell her to straighten it and get side bangs.
Straighten your hair, and then use VO5 ultra style, this will help flick it out and make it a surfy style. Hope this helps.

with a hair dryer in one hand and scrunching your hair in the other is how you do it…since her hair is naturally curly use mousse or toni and guy surf spray is great before you scrunch dry…this brings out the natural wave first….thats what i did when i was on holiday in the hot weather cuz i couldnt be bothered straightening it
