I wanna leave all my hair out afro curly… but when i just wash my hair its really curly but shrinks to half the length! the next day it goes back to its normal length but all the curls are fizzed out unless i put product in and wet my hair to get the culr back. but i look like i have a 80’s wet perm on my head! help!!

@prettyproblem16 probably not her curls are really tight and when she pulls it back you can see its really puffy at the root. A texturizer would stretch her curls out and make them more like spiral or shirley temple curls, similar to ribbons or like Taylor Swifts.
after watching this and other videos i am going to rock my curly hair more, I guess i never knew how cool it looked because i was busy being self conscious, great tutorial and very pretty

no not really. i’ve seen tons of girls with hair that thick and even thicker and it’s not a weave.
Your hair is drying out, like mine used to, that is because your hair is addicted to chemicals/toxins in conventional shampoos, conditioners. I recently discovered that organic NON TOXIC hair products do miracles to my curly hair. After a week my hair is not dry, and I had a problem with this my whole life. YES!! my brother has hair like hers but waaaaaay longer. by his shoulders…and he does the same thing. he also steals my hair clips and head bands and it doesnt look feminine at all.

Agree with combing only when wet in the shower. You need a conditioner with really good slip like Pantene and make sure to moisturize afterward (pure coconut oil is good)

When I saw this a couple of years back I couldn’t believe I was seeing a top model wearing naturally kinky hair. It really helped me muster the confidence to cut off my perm (like I’d been wanting to for years) and learn to care for my hair naturally. I’ve been loving it ever since!
TIP FOR OTHERS WITH THE SAME TEXTURE AS ABOVE: You can mix raw, unrefined shea butter with raw organic coconut oil and achieve the same styling effects without those chemical products.
