@GRANDBERRY1988 hair growth depends on the genes you have…you can’t do magic with that. still u can grow upto maximum length whatever others can achieve in your community but u need to be patient…

@GBJ83 All Africans don’t wear weaves or wigs. There are natural haired black women on youtube. Have you checked out rusticbeauty, longhairdontcare2011, cerebralmadness, herflyness79, and the other natural haired women. Don’t believe that statement. Some of us wear weaves when we get tired of dealing with our own hair. We give it a break.

  6. GBJ83 says:

@gmcmim1 why do all africans wear wigs and weaves

  7. gmcmim1 says:

indian hair is so beautiful. I like African hair as well. So thick.

@default3333 don’t worry you will also get full silky hair. just follow regular oiling routine twice a week and keep overnight and give steam sometimes with warm towel. use pure coconut oil or herbal oil available in most indian stores.

  9. default3333 says:

Your hair is beautiful and I’m envious, mines only half or a quarter of yours and not so silky appearing haha. What kind of oil would you recommend?

@ShinjuHoshi it is normal still in villages but in metro cities women starting cutting their hair shorter these days due to hectic lifestyle. u need time to take care of long hair otherwise u migh get skin diseases.

  12. ShinjuHoshi says:

is it normal for indian to have such long hair? i only see this in the movies

  13. kbsBeautyy says:

@tomkots thanks SOOOO much for all your help!
    I’ll definitely try this. n_n

  14. tomkots says:

@kbsBeautyy in india usually women who stay at home keep it for days but if u r uncomfortable u can put in the night and wash out in the morning…that is what i do..

  15. kbsBeautyy says:

@tomkots thank you once again. sorry for asking so many questions! >.<
but, last question…do we rinse our hair after leaving the oil in our hair or do we keep the oil it all day/night? what time of the day do you recommend me doing this [morning/night]??

  16. tomkots says:

@kbsBeautyy use moderate…start with scalp on the top and the slowly move towards ends…if hair is dry then drench those ends in oil to prevent splitting that is the key…best luck…

  17. kbsBeautyy says:

@tomkots thanks. and also, do we use a little bit of oil or a lot. do we massage just at the scalp or also at the ends??

  18. tomkots says:

@kbsBeautyy if u warm oil little bit then it helps open up pores near roots. caster oil is good.

  19. kbsBeautyy says:

@tomkots What’s a warm oil massage?? and also, does caster oil work for this massage??

@AnitaCheesecake ahh think you, but we wont be getting married until i finish college… lol and his sister has to mary first. But im just glad his family accepts me, next step… try to grow this hair,,, lol

  21. AnitaCheesecake says:

@temickab Aaah, ok, i understand now. :) Don’t worry, best things come with time—i bet your hair will grow pretty. Good luck with your indian wedding! *hugs**

  22. temickab says:

@AnitaCheesecake lol i think dreads are cute but not for me, lol… im suppose to marry indian soon, and he tells me to grow my hair long…. i dont want to dissapoint him but it will take about 4 years to get is down my back with constant care and maintenace, and we cant wash our hair everyday neither….

  23. AnitaCheesecake says:

@temickab aaww but hey, with your type of hair little braids look awesome, and it is alot easier to make dreads with it—wich i think are very cute…. and it’s naturaly spongy! : )

  24. temickab says:

i wish it was that easy for african american hair… we can grow our hair that long, but its dangerously curly… so playing with it it like you do will cause breakage in our hair
